-------------------- CORE VALUES --------------------
Community Engagement
I'm a firm believer that the community needs someone that will stay active with everyone, not only in the appropriate district but city wide.. Letting them know of meetings, events, issues and much more. Giving them the opportunity to speak concerns they may have, issues and open communication between them and myself. I will make a commitment to work on this and make this a priority because It's not just me, it's us together.
ACCOUNTABILITY
I plan to develop a feedback mechanism for all citizens. I want to be able to receive all feedback, criticism, and suggestions for improvement. I will be willing to accept the fact if I made a mistake. Im willing to accept if something is not right and I want to be able to learn and make it right.
RESPECT
Recognizing the value and worth of every person. Seeking to understand and empathize with each of you. Being mindful or personal and professional boundaries and respecting them.
IM HERE FOR CHANGE!
What we had was not working for us, both as a community and a city. During my campaign my slogan was, IT'S TIME FOR A CHANGE. I think it was clear on election day that you guys as well are ready for that change. So I stand before you to promise I will do my absolute best to make a change and do what right for the city and it's residents.
I ENCOURAGE YOU!
To help be a part of the solution, I encourage each and every one of you not only from District 3 but city wide to interact with blogs, social media and other outlets of communication. If you have issues let's hear them, fill out the contact form and ill see what I can do or try to provide the correct answers. I may not be able to help every one but I for dang sure want to give it my best. More importantly, if you have a concern or an issue with an item coming up on the agenda, I encourage you to go to the meetings and explain. That's how your voice is heard, unfortunately not all of us are on FB all the time and cant read all comments, etc.
"Curtis proves his love for the City every time we chat. He only wants what's best for his family, friends and his community. He is highly motivated in everything he works on and would be a great councilmember for the city. His generosity shows he's a selfless individual and a positive influence to others, and who continues to show continuous growth. I look forward to seeing what he accomplishes on the City Council"

"Curtis Beard is an amazing and successful businessman. He and his family have a long tradition of investing in and serving Buckeye. I first met Curtis when he was a young boy at Buckeye Elementary, and what a joy it has been to see him mature and grow into the man he is today. His generosity and commitment is very evident as he has donated backpacks and many Christmas gifts to our more needy students. Curtis cares deeply for Buckeye and its future citizens.
I think he would be an amazing councilman. He is smart, relational, and forward thinking! We need committed entrepreneurs like Curtis Beard to ensure Buckeye’s future success. I heartily endorse Curtis Beard for this leadership position! "
